How to restore from MSP360 backups

Login to the server and open the Secure Online Backup Shortcut from the desktop:

Click on the restore tab:

And press on the Restore button:

Press Next

Press Next (no changes are needed here)

Select Run restore once and press Next:


Click on the Server and press Next:

Click on Restore files and folders and press next

Press Next (no changes are needed here)

Select Latest version to restore the Latest version of the file (for example: if the file was deleted accidently).
And select Select the Restore point and choose the date - if the file needs to be restored to a particular time and date (for example: to restore the Microsoft Word document file as it was on the 11 June because the file became corrupted and could no longer be opened after 12 June. Another example: on 12 June one of the employees deleted the entire content of the particular Microsoft Word document and closed the document, but accidently saved the changes when asked by a Microsoft Word when closing.)

Unfold the tree of folders and navigate to the File or Folder in question.
Then mark with a check mark the files that needs to be restored.

Choose the destination. Option Restore to specific location is recommended if you would like to open the restored files and compare them to the ones currently present.

Click Browse and navigate to where you would like your files saved to:

And press Next to proceed.

Press next (No actions are needed here):

Press next (No actions are needed here):

Press Finish and the restoration task will start immediately:

You will see your task loading

And then completing

And disappearing from the Restore plans tab.
Which will mean the restoration is complete.

You can now open the folder to where the files were restored and check the files in question.
